Volunteer Today!

We have a need for community and parent volunteers!

Please consider becoming an Art Literacy Volunteer. There is no cost to you. All materials and training are provided by Hazeldale's Art Literacy Coordinators, Kym Lardieri and Emily Bernard.

You do not need to be a parent of a student to participate, just need to have passed a volunteer background check.

A large part of how Art Literacy is different from art done in the classroom is in the learning of new vocabulary, historical information, processes, materials, reasons for creating art and how we feel about it.…and then once in a while, a masterpiece happens.

Become a part of the volunteer community bringing art to Hazeldale classrooms.
Better Impact (myvolunteerpage.com)
In order to streamline the application process, integrate background checks and allow volunteers to manage their own profiles, we are transitioning to a new District-wide Volunteer Management System (VMS). Currently, all schools have begun the transition to the new system

What does this mean for volunteers?
All current and new volunteers need to complete a new application and background check. Once the background check is cleared, a new profile will be created. Through myvolunteerpage.com volunteers will be able to update personal information, view and sign-up for open volunteer needs, and communicate directly with the school Volunteer Coordinator.  Volunteers will be able to use this profile from their first volunteer activity to their last.
